Thanks, it started out linear then fell willy-nilly into a downward spiral.

We Montrealers ruined many a Habs hockey card clipped in the spokes of our 10-speed tyres.

I loved the bit with the spokes as well. It's great. You can just hear that noise as you read it. I love the way that is moves down the page symbolically too. Wonderful.

Also, it's interesting because over here, we have this English poet who wrote a poem, which repeats 'And the smell of the cabbage' which really creates a feeling of movement. Your poem made me think of it. It's by Simon Armitage. Just my mind making Joycean leapsxx
